Malcolm Douglas killed in car crash
Malcolm Douglas is one of my favorite Aussie icons, an orginal croc hunter. He was a frank family man and down to earth friend. His expertise of wilderness was spectacular in his facilitating documentary. I am sad to hear of his death this morning.
Douglas was often overshadowed by the popularity of The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, who garnered global popularity with his exuberant demeanour and fearless behaviour.
However Douglas was alway seen as the man who set the mould for adventurers to come.
He was virtually an overnight success after his first wildlife show, Across The Top, was screened in 1976.
Douglas was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2004 and told he had 18 months to live.
WA Police have confirmed Douglas's vehicle crashed into a tree at the Malcolm Douglas Wilderness Wildlife Park in Broome about 6:20am on Thursday, Sept 23, 2010.

Angel Quills is high on Google
Woah… that was quick! My website has already been indexed by Google. The site also made it to the top of the Google page rank for the search term “Angel Quills”. Granted “Angel Quills” probably isn’t the hottest search term out there, it’s still pretty cool. Google’s page rank is based on an undisclosed algorithm that evaluates several different factors. The top factors seem to be a combination of Meta keywords, site content (information relevance), and inbound links (also called backward links). Inbound links are the most important ranking factor. You can easily acquire inbound links using link directories, reciprocal link exchanges, or even easier… a personal signature on all your posts in any popular online discussion forum. The signature should contain a link to your website (make sure the forum pages are searchable by Google). It’s also important to note that Google applies link reputation to all inbound links. A link’s reputation is primarily based around its textual relevance to the site. For example, the title of www.angelquills.com is “Angel Quills”, and I have setup links on other sites using the linking text (the actual clickable text link) of “Angel Quills”. Am I making sense? Oh well… enjoy yourself.

The journey : how to live by faith in an uncertain world
This weekend, I choose this book The journey : how to live by faith in an uncertain world written by Graham, Billy (1918 - )
With insights from a life spent pursuing God, beloved evangelist Graham delivers his magnum opus, the culmination of a lifetime of experience and ministry.
Another book I would recommend for Angel Quills' blog fans for good read this weekend is Billy Graham speaks : insight from the world's greatest preacher in case you can finish reading the previous one in one day, so spare some time to read this book from the same author, Billy Graham.
The reason why I like this author and his book is Billy Graham is one of those rare individuals who has become a legend in his own lifetime. Recognized as the world's most famous evangelist, he has preached to more people than anyone in the history of religion. Billy Graham's influence, however, reaches far beyond the pulpit as he has become a worldwide crusader for religion, a spokesman for political and social change, and a sublimely successful businessman and fundraiser.
I also like to recommend Graham's The Holy Spirit : activating God's power in your life.
The wisdom and guidance he has offered the world are captured in Billy Graham Speaks, a unique portrait of the reverend in his own words-culled from sermons, newscasts, articles, and interviews. Graham talks about everything from marriage, children, and faith, to religious tolerance, leadership, and integrity, to popes, presidents, and ordinary people. He reflects on his life as an evangelist who has traveled the world and witnessed some of this century's milestone events, including the advent of racial integration in the South, the fall of Communism, and the social and political struggles in Northern Ireland and South Africa. He looks within to confront his own feelings of self-doubt and discuss his undying belief in God that has been central to his life for more than three quarters of a century.
"God calls us to invest our time, our very lives, primarily in people, not in projects or possessions." - Billy Graham
The last but not least, if you are sick of being branded by the worldly people, or suffering persecution for your religious beliefs, you may refer to this the autobiography of Billy Graham, Just as I am.
Wishing you have a fruitful and safe weekend.

Is achieving financial freedom one of your goals?

At Angel Quills.com our goal is to make building wealth through investing in property and stock market an enjoyable as well as profitable experience. We will guide you through the time proven methods to boost wealth through building a powerful investment portfolio.
Investing in property and stock market doesn’t have to be difficult and it costs a lot less than most people think.
Our mission is to assist you in building your family’s wealth, using the proven formula, to achieve financial freedom.
Most people would answer YES to this question but how many people actually have a plan? The answer is less than 5%!
Trying to time the best moment to get into a particular market is fraught with danger, however there are still windows of opportunities which periodically present themselves. We think that with the high Australian dollar and the prospects for good returns in the United States and Asia throughout 2010, investors seeking growth should now increase their exposure to this sector.
The rise of the $AU dollar or more accurately, the decline of the $US continues to dominate economic markets. “Only buy something that you’d be perfectly happy to hold if the market shut down for 10 years”. Warren Buffett, head of Berkshire Hathaway.
Most people desire to improve their financial position and achieve financial freedom in short term or less than 24 to 36 months.
The majority of the Australian population have the NOTHING plan. They go to work all
their lives, pay off their house, retire at 65, and go on the pension when their superannuation income runs out. Did you know that the single Old Age pension is less than $300 per week? Do you think you could live on that? of your future! Invest in something that will increase your income, it’s never too late to invest! Even if you plan to retire in 5 years you can still invest in your future so you are less reliant on your super and the pension. If your retirement is further away, let’s concentrate on putting the process in place to Financial Freedom. There are two ways to make money: |
1. People working for money
2. Money working for money |
You want your money to work as hard for you as you do
A powerful and proven path to building wealth is through investing in real estate and stock market. This is not a get rich quick scheme, on the contrary, this is a time worn sure fire wayto accumulate wealth. But, beware of the pitfalls. Like everything in life, there is a right way and a wrong way to do things, building wealth through property and stock market is no different. We’re here to help guide you along the way and avoid the pitfalls. And you are not alone when it comes to investing in property. There are two willing partners— the Tenant and the taxman. They will give you a substantial helping hand on your way to financial freedom. There are also two willing partners when it comes to investing in stock – the banker and the taxman. How? Well, the tenant must pay rent and the taxman has generous incentives and will allow you to claim tax deductions against your other income. If the investment is structured correctly you will only be required to contribute the “top up” portion to the overall cost. In fact, with today’s historically low interest rates, you may even have more money in your pocket each month. So why wait? Nothing will change unless you do something. Do something NOW and subscribe Angel Quills monthly Wealth Creation e-Zine to crack the code and start down the road to Financial Freedom! |
